Be the Belle of your own ball with this whimsical outdoor wedding inspired by Disney’s original film, Beauty and the Beast. Shades of red, navy and gold create a magical atmosphere at the beautiful Elliston Vineyards in Sunol, CA. Vintage gold candelabras, blue velvet table runners and hand picked red roses recreate all the romance and magic in a dreamy real life setting.
We haven’t even begun to talk about the amazing rose wedding cake, which is the sweetest of all surprises from Ma Petite Maison Cake Design. Experience all the grandeur and magic throughout this shoot styled by Marie Luciano of Littles 'n Lace Events and beautifully captured by Milou + Olin Photography in the full gallery here.
From Littles 'n Lace Events: I had been dreaming of doing an inspired beauty and the beast shoot for some time, it was always one of my favorite movies growing up. I wanted to make sure you could feel the whimsical romance from just looking at the photos. I loved that every vendor we chose was a fan of the movie growing up and was just as excited to be involved on the project. The shoot was hosted at Elliston Vineyards in Sunol, CA and the property gave the perfect feeling of a French estate. It was the ideal atmosphere for our shoot.
The wedding shoot was inspired by the gorgeous tones you can find all throughout the original movie; from the color of Belles dress and gold elements through out the film, to the blue tux the beast wore and of course the very important red rose. I wanted it to feel like we would know what their wedding was like after their story was told. Each detail we picked from Pleasanton Rentals was carefully thought about from the candelabras, to the tea pot & tea cup. I really loved the charger plates we chose for the tablescapes, they gave it a more elegant but beastly feel.
Laura from LC Floral Design was just about as excited as I was to make the vision come to life through the flowers and her designs turned out perfectly. Every red rose was hand picked and the draped eucalyptus on each table was pieced together beautifully. When Caroline, from Milou + Olin Photography, said she wanted to do the shoot with us I was so thrilled. I knew she would be the perfect fit to capture the mood and romance of the shoot.
I had this crazy idea of having the rose coming out of the cake and Negar, from Ma Petite Maison Cakes went above and beyond to accomplish the look we were going for. Creme Si Bon made us some of the most beautiful {and delicious} macarons with gold painted roses on top. Jeanette, from Party Crush Studio even let us incorporate some of her new 2017 velvet table runners. The biggest reward was seeing it all come together after dreaming about doing the shoot for so long. I could not have dreamed up a better group of wedding pros to put this shoot together with and a special thanks to our model couple.
