Are you super excited for the Disney's new Alice In Wonderland movie?
I am a huge Johnny Depp fan and will be there with bells on. So, as you might have guessed I jumped at the chance to share with you a recent styled shoot from My Sorted Affair that is inspired by Alice In Wonderland. Complete with a real life bunny and The Mad Hatter, who actually looks quite mad in his own right. All the incredible paper goodies you see are from our favorite, The Papeterie Store.
Jessica Frey Photography snapped all these delightful photos for your enjoyment.
How The Shoot Came To Be From My Sorted Affair Our shoot was inspired by the upcoming Tim Burton's New Disney movie, Alice In Wonderland. Who doesn't like a vintage tea party? My Sorted Affair could easily translate this into a bridal shower for any unique bride, or baby shower, as My Sorted Affair is currently planning a baby shower based on this theme for later in the year.
Jessica and Therese both had ideas to do a "Alice in Wonderland" themed shoot and during collaboration on another project decided to combine forces and make this one happen! We chose a beautiful blossoming almond orchard in Bakersfield to help bring the vision to life.
The dishes and most props including teapots, vases, frames, books, etc. are part of My Sorted Affair private collection. Some of them, like the yellow chair also came from Jessica Frey Photography private collection of photography props. They were picked up from years of antiquing and thrifting. The hanging painted frames are Ribba frames from Ikea. Alice's hair bow is a hair accessory made by My Sorted Affair's Boutique over at Etsy.
The dress can be found at Forever 21 The real life lop-eared rabbit is Toby, Meagan's pet! Our "Mad Hatter" is James Frey of San Luis Obisbo.
My Sorted Affair is a preferred member and proud sponsor of The Wedding Chicks.
