On the isle of Martinique, lies a secluded villa with views of the water and the mountains. It also boasts an infinity pool where couples can relax before the wedding and soak up some of that glorious island sun. Tropical weddings tend to be bright and full of hyper-saturated colors, but this team decided to play up the warm whites and subtle pastel colors also found in the Caribbean, with soft sage, light rose, and a few small pops of red and coral to add some depth to the design. Keeping with that romantic vibe, the bride wore an elegant gown that was covered in delicate fabric flowers that caught the island breeze as she walked.
According to Organsa Wedding Planner, the true inspiration behind this wedding design was the stunning bride and the gown. Macq Caribbean Design took the soft note and created spectacular floral arrangements that incorporated tropical greenery and paired it with more traditional pastel wedding flowers and added some Calla Lillies in shades of white and pink and fresh coconuts for that tropical flare. Villa Apolline is the epitome of island elegance and worked beautifully with this wedding design. Pierre & Julia captured this special day on photo and video. They followed the couple as they lounged by the pool and explored the grounds of the villa before they tied the knot and sat down to an elegant dinner overlooking the bay. Today, we fly to the island of flowers named Martinique situated in the Caribbean. Just a few kilometers from the famous botanical garden of Balata, standing majestically in the luxurious setting of a tropical park with hundred-year-old trees is the Villa Apolline. This exceptional guest house overlooking the capital offers a view of the bay of Fort-de-France, a perfect place for the realization of this editorial shoot, mixing elegance and refinement in a tropical style.
We imagined a ceremony sublimated by a unique color palette: white, green, and powder pink, distilled throughout this staging, an authentic atmosphere captured by photographers and videographers Pierre & Julia with garden roses and palm leaves. The stationery used pastel colors and textured papers from Rue Vendome. This wedding inspiration was nothing less than pure delicacy and finesse surrounded by a wild setting, a day beautifully flowered by Macq Caribbean Design, thanks to exceptional floral arrangements. One of the highlights was certainly the floral installation on the table in the main living room with lush flowers and exotic fruit. Next to it, a delicate and refined wedding cake made by our talented service provider Beltigato, on which were delicately placed coconut and angelica flowers.
But, having said that, the centerpiece that enchanted this magnificent shoot with exotic allure was our sublime bride. Styled by Séverine Moustin, Linda looked insanely elegant in a gown that was as spectacular as the poetic spirit of the haute couture house of Oksana Mukha. Rhythmic, small hands lovingly worked on this design. This unique piece was adorned with fine chantilly lace, delicate silk tulle, and rose petals in taffeta made with the meticulousness of a goldsmith. The focus is on this centerpiece and the accessories that accompany it. A ring set with diamonds from our prestigious provider, Le Joaillier Du Marais. A pair of earrings and a gold leaf crown from L'atelier de Sarah Aime, a harmony that highlights the elegance of this exotic-looking shoot, punctuated by the dreams of each in the heart of the Caribbean.
