Mysterious Sintra is a small village known for its own weather and the beautiful gardens and landscapes. It’s a village full of palaces, castles, monasteries, churches, parks and properties with wonderful stories.
Casa dos Penedos it’s an enchanted little palace right in the middle of the village and a perfect location for an intimate wedding.
We love small weddings, especially during this season! There is something particular about celebrating with your close family and friends, whilst it’s raining and cold outside. It makes the whole atmosphere look nicer and very romantic.

Green, Red, Burgundy and Gold are essential to transmit the full vibe of the wedding. Of course, greenery is a natural and easy choice for a winter wedding and garlands with red details are a classic.
Frida Kahlo used vibrant colors in her paintings and used to wear crowns of flowers. She is a symbol of passion and dedication, which was in part an inspiration for this photoshoot.
A winter table can be set in enormous ways. We gave preference to a big flower arrangement in the center and some smaller flower details in handmade ceramic pots. Handmade painted and calligraphed menus, is something that fully transmits exclusivity. The minimalist tableware allows you to mix other special items such as patterned napkins and strong color arrangements and candles.
A large evergreen ceremony backdrop offers the final touch to the room, surrounded by lighted candles in white, red and gold. Inspired by seasonal wreaths at home, an arch for the ceremony full of greenery and a touch of season flowers are the perfect match to exchange your vows.
Winter dresses can be fun and spectacular and with a fur stole the bride will look gorgeous, with a classy cold-weather look. Black tie gowns are becoming very popular during the winter and a chic look is perfect for the day special. The simple match between the red boutonnière and the black background suits the groom in a classy and elegant way.
Add a bit of seasonal texture, velvet for example, in the bride shoes and use it as the "something new." Gold jewelry is always contemporary and the best choice for a bride to wear, they can be modern and minimalist and will always provide a refined look.
