This shoot was inspired by a classic Scandinavian look with a few modern touches. It took place at Monastère des Augustines, a coveted heritage site in Old Quebec. The goal behind this shoot was to inspire couples to use the micro-wedding concept that is in vogue right now. With a beautiful neutral background, the predominant colors and materials were dusty blue, white, gray and natural oak.
For the flowers, we have chosen a minimalist concept. Prune les Fleurs prepared a beautiful mix of buttercups, white frill tulips, alliums and cherry blossom branches. The look of these flowers blends in perfectly with the Scandinavian style we were looking for.
To keep the table airy, we selected a tablecloth with an ivory-colored linen effect from La Vie est Une Fête. We completed it all with muslin table linens to add a touch of sweetness and fluffiness to the table.
For the wedding gown, We selected the Morgan dress from the Milla Nova Collection by Lorenzo Rossi. With a floral allure, a sweetheart neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves with appliques and sequins, this gown was a perfect match with Scandinavian allure.
Finally, to add a contemporary artistic touch to the photoshoot, we selected the Make Today Amazing artwork painted by Veronique Boisvert. The mixture of dusty blue, blush and a little bit of magenta takes us into a universe of colors, happiness and lightness.
