A Modern Fairytale In The Heart Of Burgundy

Newlyweds share a kiss outside a church on their wedding day

Pretty pastel florals and a glittering château in Burgundy set the stage for this fairytale wedding. Starting in the historic chapel that is on-site, the couple exchanged their vows, and then made their way to the garden where they dined with their guests alfresco. This couple decided to keep the wedding fashion timeless with the bride in a gorgeous lace gown with a sweeping train and the groom in a classic tux. The bridesmaids wore off-the-shoulder gowns in shades of pastel pink and blue to match the gorgeous floral arrangements throughout the wedding.

The couple trusted Peony Moments with bringing their dream wedding to life. Un Été á La Campagne created large voluminous floral arrangements for the ceremony and carried the design through to the reception with smaller versions that graced the beautifully set tables. Photographing weddings in vintage venues can be difficult, especially in chapels where natural light is limited, so these airy photos by Thomas Audiffren Photography are a wonder! A FAIRYTALE CEREMONY

The design and the planning of Blaise and Stephen's wedding were conducted by talented wedding planners Aurélie from Peony Moments. They chose the fantastic Château de Varennes, in Burgundy, for its amazing atmosphere. Un Été á La Campagne created beautiful and delicate floral decorations in a pastel blue and rose inspiration. The chairs and the entire tableware were rented from Joli Bazaar to sublimate the French touch of this dreamy decor. Chandeliers were added and rented to Phos Events for the occasion. The ceremony was so emotional and inspiring, held in the chapel of the castle, though it was not religious. As always, film photographer Thomas Audiffren was helped by Carmencita Film Lab to process and scan the films.
