From Liza Litvinovich: A contemporary affair at the elegant McLean House. Built in 1928, the Mclean house was the perfect location to create a modern and elegant creative session. The space is charming, graceful, quaint and has the most amazing lighting. The McLean House leaves all of its guests feeling warmth and romance.
The reception space was decorated with minimal greens, soft blushes, deep reds and burnt orange colours that were conveyed mainly in the florals and candles. The overall approach was minimalistic, with a less is more feel. Quality over quantity was used to express the romantic feel of the space and allowed the décor details to shine.
The brides looked outstanding, each had their own dresses with their own unique details. From the beading to the lace applique, the brides shined and took centre stage. Their hair stayed untamed and the makeup was soft and dewy allowing the bride’s natural features to shine on their special day.
In the age of over the top, we took a minimal approach. Our goal was to allow the colours and details to play together to create a unique and minimalistic experience. This was truly a modern, contemporary fairy-tale wedding.
