The blend of Mid Century Modern with chic rustic cottage vibes drew Dreamer Events and I to the wedding venue-- The Cottage At Riverbend in Eagle, Idaho. The cottage sits on a lovely property with landscaped lawns, Italian Cypresses, and a beautiful meadow with trees serving as a backdrop.

As you walk into the cottage, you are transported into a Mid Century affair with furniture, gold accents, chairs, and decor celebrating the modern era. I was drawn to the wallpaper in the dining room with it’s a gold geometric pattern, which would serve as a beautiful backdrop for portraits.

The enchanting light streaming through the windows in the living room illuminated a fireplace and mantel with a mid-century credenza and a vintage record player that sat against the opposite wall. What wonderful lighting for a bride to put on her dress with her bridesmaids. The meadow towards the back was perfect for a ceremony, where we would actually have a real married couple exchange renewed vows under a copper and wood arbor as our models!

The bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses from LaNeige Bridal helped us create a glamorous garden feel. I love the romantic look of the off-the-shoulder lace wedding dress on Morgan and how it mixes with the timeless long satin dresses for the bridesmaids.

For the color palette we mixed yellow with pinks, and pops of rust. These colors were incorporated in the florals by Lae Floral Event Design. The bridal bouquet consisted of roses, ranunculus and a fringe tulip, all softened with sweet peas.

Amber goblets and gold flatware from Flying China adorned the tablescape with brass candlesticks, pink linen napkins, and white modern plates. The large farmhouse tables, copper chairs, copper and wood arbor, tufted sofa and velvet chairs meshed together with a modern and rustic feel by Rustique Rentals and Event Design.

The Cake was made by Flour Child Boise, which had delicate intricate sugar roses that took days to create! It was definitely a work of art! For a touch of playful retro fun for this styled wedding, the Pretty Bubble Company provided their vintage 1979 Piaggio Ápe, turned mobile bubbly bar, and we incorporated a Restored Trailer, turned photo booth, by Pro Photo Box.

This was such a fun and joyful experience. It truly felt like we were living our wedding all over again!
This experience was a DREAM. Between the gorgeous venue, the events coordinator, vendors and of course our lovely photographer, we felt SO loved and like everything was HANDLED.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
With being almost five years married, and two babies later, this couldn’t have come at a better time. Renewing our vows felt like we were at our wedding all over (with a little more wisdom and a whole lot more love). Of course, on our real wedding day we did NOT spend a ton on photography and looking back we wish we had (best bridal tip I have: spend ALL your money on photography.. you want to remember your day the BEST way!... Bernadette (Bramble and Vine) knows what she’s doing!)
The Cottage at Riverbend is the most romantic place I’ve been in Boise. If I had to do it all over again I would have ABSOLUTELY chosen that venue. The whole entire collaboration of this shoot was a dream come true!
