Winter weddings and elopements are taking on a new vibe, and this styled shoot team definitely embraced all things warm and cozy, while infusing a rustic elegance. This rooftop elopement at the Malcolm Hotel in the heart of Canmore, Alberta - with the Three Sisters mountain range watching over the events of the day - was all this couple needed as inspiration. This styled shoot team chose to use all natural elements in the design to reflect the surroundings and location: wood, greens, florals, fur (faux), stone, gold, paper and fire. These elements appeared from table top to jewelry, from stationery to venue, and from ceremony to the attire.
The table top consisted of faux fur placements, wood chargers, stone plates, and paper menus, while greenery and florals adorned the centre with pillar candles glowing in glass hurricanes.
The ceremony space was aglow with vintage glass lamps on gold bases and a beautiful floral and green garland on the deck wall. The mountain range, Three Sisters, watched over us as our couple enjoyed their day. What winter elopement would be complete without a lovely hot chocolate treat for everyone! Wrapping each other in love and cozy blankets was a treat by the beautiful fire pit.
As a vendor team, our heart and soul goes into each and every design we create. This workshop series by Wild Rose Weddings And Workshops allows us to think outside the box, to create new, fun and exciting ideas for our network of vendors, and for potential clients to see what we are able to create for them. Using styled shoots to help couples envision the possibilities is a lot of fun - and a lot of hard work. Each vendor (listed below) brings such a unique element to these designs, which helps build community and creates inspiration for couples planning their own weddings.
