A Mansion of bold colors

From Lindsay Whiting Photography: I came across this venue a few years ago and fell in love with it. This beautiful historic mansion has so much color and detail! This is what makes it so unique but I also think this venue can be intimidating to a lot of brides because of its strong colors. There are three main small gathering rooms on the main level. They are red, yellow and light blue. We wanted to showcase this venue and pick florals that made these colors pop. The other vendors and I agreed on an elegant pastel theme. There is a lot of color and I think it all tied together beautifully.

The Pepin Mansion is now owned by Ron and Christine Smith who have restored and now operate the Mansion as a Bed & Breakfast and Special Event Venue. Much of the Mansion remains original: 15-foot tall Horse-Hair Plaster walls and ceilings have been maintained, plaster moldings and ornate medallions, marble & cast-iron fire-places, Hardwood Floors (In-laid Quarter Saw’n Oak and Red Pine), many original gas fixtures, original p ainted ceilings in the Ballroom and Formal Parlor, and more.
