The palace built in 1548, is one of the main exponents of renaissance-style architecture in the province of Jaén, in southern Spain.
This place is characterized by its beautiful porticoed galleries, through which the golden light of a summer afternoon is filtered. Its high ceilings, worn walls and the stone staircase with double arch of half point that communicates with the upper floor, evoke the purest classic and timeless beauty.
In this place, drawn by the hand of time, the light that seeps through the galleries, exalts the natural beauty of the model. Photography by Doncel Y Alcoba captures the essence of each setting and manages to unite everything creating scenes full of romanticism, delicacy and, at the same time, strength, character and style.
A romantic bride in a handcrafted pleated tulle dress and skirt with flounces by Marta Martí, stars in the first part of this editorial. The second dress in natural silk and with pleated details at the cuffs and waist, full of movement, elegance and luminosity, the second part of the shoot.
A luminous makeup in nude tones, with a loose and casual hairstyle in the first look, made by Jorge Fortes, accompany a more organic and fresh first setting. The second look, more elegant and classic, is complemented by a half updo leaving in sight the natural beauty of the model.
The chosen color palette manages to connect the ochre, brown and salmon tones of the construction, with orange and different shades of blue. A perfect complementary harmony.
On the stone staircase that connects to the second floor, nature embraces the space with a floral installation with very organic shapes made by Alejandra Romero Floral Studio. Delphiniums, eremurus, roses and carnations create a poetic garden. On the second floor of he Palace is the main fireplace. Decorated with unstructured floral arrangements and striking delicacy, a warm and elegant atmosphere is created.
There is a romantic air in the first tablescape, achieved through the fluidity of the chiffon by Pomegranate Colours, its light colours and the floral centerpieces in porcelain cups. A fondant cake by Velvet Marbella Catering, with a soft brushstroke of color thanks to fresh flowers such as muscari, sweet pea and clematis, is accompanied by mini naked cakes and an apple crumble, which offer a different concept than traditional sweet tables.
Estudio Requetebien used a craft-made paper with hand-cut envelope and edges in natural color. She chose a traditional typography combined with a calligraphic creating a more classic and elegant style. A very subtle blue watercolor stain gave the touch of color on every element of the stationery.
The videographer Lola Montalvez fills the spaces with silhouettes and moving images, creating a delicate play of lights and shadows that draw an unrepeatable atmosphere.
The delicate harmony between romanticism and a natural and modern style, creates an inspiring setting from another glance. An alternative view to the traditional wedding editorial, was one of the main goals that allowed to give free rein to the creativity of the team.
