Prepare to be in awe over all the bohemian details in this G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S styled shoot. From the florals to the cake and the bridal looks all these details are breathtaking but what we love more than that is the intention of this styled shoot, to represent all women and diversity. Each of these girls was able to pick out their wedding dress and you can truly see their own style and personality shining through.

Initially, I was asked to plan a shoot for Grbic Events, a Bosnian restaurant & event space in St. Louis, MO. They'd went through a lot of renovations & wanted to show off their new space. At this point of quarantine, I was honestly kind of tired of shoots but I'm a sucker for them & helping out small businesses.
I've wanted to work with Tammi Camp Photography for quite some time but I wanted to make sure whatever project we did together was intentional. So I started by coming up with a concept. One thing never left my mind, this shoot has to represent all women. They have to be different shapes & different colors. I asked a few of my close friends then went on to finding women on Instagram that I felt like I would click well with & ran with it.
I took a variety of girls to one of my favorite bridal shops near St. Louis called The Bridal Parlour & we made a day out of it. I let them all pick out their dresses, my only requirements were that not one of them can be the same & they all have to flow with the subtle boho theme I had planned. I brought snacks & champagne, we all really clicked (which is one thing that I wanted).
After that day, I began pinning like crazy. From collaborating on hair & make-up with the Joy Loveless + Team to picking out Jewelry to send to Lovebird Jewelry Collective. I made sure not only were the models all women of different ethnicities but the vendors were as well.
Every step of this shoot was meant to be intentional. We made sure everything clicked. That's when I came up with the idea to bring a videographer in. As corny as it sounds, I had a dream of a video with all women & Maya Angelou's voice in the background. That's when I reached out to Deeply Rooted Wedding Films on Instagram. Their films were real & authentic & exactly what I wanted.
From that point, everything just came together. When the girls arrived we had Cardi B, Meg the Stallion, Beyonce, and all of the influential playing. They went straight to hair & make-up with an amazing brunch spread then we started to shoot.
The overall energy of the shoot was indescribable, I remember going home & crying because that's exactly what I needed during this chaotic time. I needed to be around a bunch of inspirational women because women will save the world but sometimes we need to take a step back to take care of ourselves & to appreciate one another.
