I am torn between loving the beauty of Fall this year and dreading the coming months of intense cold, So when this gorgeous wedding shoot in Portugal landed in my inbox I just had to take a minute and soak up every last bit of it's warm weather vibes. Organized PomPom Your Life, styled by Love Is My Favorite Color and artfully photographed by Anja Schneemann, here are 5 reasons I am dreaming about jet setting to Portugal even if I don't have a nuptial knot to tie.
Sintra is a special place on earth. A small city not far away from Portugal's capital and close to the wild beaches of the western coast it is an enchanting place surrounded by great nature. Portugal is one of the smaller countries in Europe, but it has a rich culture and amazingly beautiful places. It was influenced by its short but intense colonial history which still can be seen in the architecture, cuisine and culture of the country. It is colorful and wild, elegant and vivid - Portugal has many facets and is a perfect place to get married for an international couple.
The venue Tivoli Palácio de Seteais is much more than just a 5 star hotel in Sintra. It is a luxurious and romantic palace of period architecture which takes you back to the elegance and atmosphere of the XVIII century. The rooms are decorated with furnishing of extraordinary wealth while the ballrooms are simply stunning with tapestries and frescos of rare beauty giving this hotel a unique setting to any wedding into an unforgettable experience.
The joy and spirit of Portugal as well as the subtle colors of the venue's frescos are captured by the lively and vibrant colors of the decoration concept. The lush flower decoration can be found in many matching details like a beautiful flower crown, that makes the bride look like a princess, cake decoration, bouquets and boutonnieres.
Talented bridal designer Pureza Mello Breyner designed a dress that could not be more perfect for this elegant wedding. Rich in details and made of stunning lace it lets the bride shine like a gem in the sun.
The stationary that was designed by Nicnillas Ink includes landmarks of Sintra and ornaments that mirror the moorish influences of the area.
