She named the company after her grandmother, a renowned couturier known for her attention to detail and perfect craftsmanship. Olivia was a fearless woman, living ahead of her time. Laura Hooper’s passion for calligraphy began at the age of 12, and she has been in love with the art of lettering ever since. After graduating from California State University, Northridge Laura opened her own artistic ventures, Laura Hooper Calligraphy and Lucky Orchid Designs. For the past nine years, Laura has worked with countless brides and grooms to create the most elegant calligraphy for their invitations and wedding stationery. She also designs custom hand drawn maps, unique place cards and other chic items for the most discerning of brides.
