Mexico may be best known for its white sand, Caribbean beaches, Mayan pyramids, and ultra-luxurious leisure complexes, but that's not all you'll find when planning a destination wedding. Packed with landmarks, cobblestone-laden and full of tradition, historical settings are seeing an increase in destination wedding demand as they allow for a full immersion of culture, local traditions, and culinary experiences. San Miguel de Allende, in particular, is a charming location that has been named the world’s best small city. La Valise San Miguel was the perfect tranquil setting for this special event. A restored hotel in the heart of San Miguel de Allende Mexico, the space marries old-world elegance with contemporary design. Its design highlights the uniquely Mexican craft and Aztec symbolism, making it the perfect oasis for a cozy and unique elopement or intimate wedding.

The bride's Laine dress by New White from the Collection VI ‘Wave’ reflected the design of this incredible wedding day. The liquid satin showed off fluid movement, soft drapery, and practically glowed in the wedding lighting. Paired with the Val jacket - a draped liquid satin cowl-neck half-jacket with off-the-shoulder long sleeves - the entire look complemented the setting perfectly while letting the bride's natural beauty shine through.
The inspiration behind the reception table settings was a Tuscan Italian vibe created by the lemon trees, gentle sunshine, and soothing water sounds that were present in the venue's courtyard. A thoughtfully curated table took guests back to the basics in a glamorous way with a modern twist. A long subtle patterned table linen, a neutral palette and gold accents, arrangements with mixed greens and eucalyptus, as well as lots of candles brought all the romantic and moody vibes together.
