Andrea Scarlett and Jason Duger moved to Vermont last year after falling in love with the state on a vacation. They wanted the perfect snowy Vermont engagement session, but February proved to be unpredictable. One day it was 60 degrees with no snow and the next it was a freezing blizzard.
Just a couple days before their shoot, they had one of the heaviest snowfalls and Cat Cutillo Photography & Video went and scoped out a last-minute tree tunnel location idea. It became their favorite choice, and it's not hard to see why. See more cute engagement photos of Andrea walking in a winter wonderland with an engagement ring and a fiance and their adorable dog in the full gallery.
Words from Cat Cutillo Photography & Video: They wanted to capture the rustic winter beauty so we went to two other locations as well: A barn with an American flag painted on it and Isham Family Farm which has Christmas trees, a barn and a maple sugar house. Bart, their sweet Bull Terrier, came along for a walk on the farm. He was endlessly happy eating snow and found the most enormous branch to haul back down the hill. It couldn't have been a more beautiful day and Andrea and Jason couldn't have been a more photogenic, fun couple.
We're definitely fans of tree farm engagements!
