To style or not to style your engagement shoot that is the question. You definitely do not to spend a fortune styling your engagement shoot, but bringing in a few props will always help bring some memorable photos to your album.
Our next shoot, styled by Nicole Davis is a fresh approach to "Vintage" with a soft color palette and typography theme. Affordable outfits and diy wedding decor to fit any budget. You must see more of this soft vintage engagement session in the full gallery.
From Ashlee
It was agreed that the color palette should be neutral and fresh. The palette would be based on the colors of the soft pink toned wedding gown, and the gray weathered wood from the art boards. Along with the decor, styling and make up artistry, all the vendors were very pleased with the overall ensemble that was created. To incorporate the typography theme, the Bride and Grooms initials were used for the cake topper and place markers and were created out of yarn.Yarn bottle vases, linens, dinnerware, macarons, wardrobe, invitations, and furniture in corresponding colors were the ideal touch to the overall theme and feel for this simple wedding shoot.
We adore these yarn bottles from Pieces of Anna, such a creative way to display florals. We are also loving how they tied the yarn into the cake topper. There are so many ways to run with a yarn theme.
