How To Have An Up Themed Surprise Proposal

This famous line in Pixar's UP, has folded itself into the public conscience in such a way that it now has become shorthand for finding your true love and the future you hope to have with them. This beautiful concept has been woven into many adorable weddings, however, this might be the very first proposal we have seen with this particular theme.

Barney wanted to make sure Ellen's favorite movie (UP) was represented fully when he popped the question, but that wasn't all. Up Up And Away With You

We found this perfect, quaint gazebo in Burlingame, CA and knew it was exactly what we wanted for the proposal venue. Hundreds of oversized balloons, vintage rentals, and a custom Adventure Book all decorated the space to honor the UP Theme.
Then Barney bought a guitar and learned how to play the “Friends” Theme Song, her favorite tv show. After the couple looked through their Adventure Book, complete with photos from their travels, “Friends” quotes, and words of affirmation from Barney to Ellen, he grabbed his guitar and surprised her with the special song.
After she said yes, her parents and best friend came out of hiding and surprised Ellen with her dog too! During the whole event, we had a wonderful pianist playing the “UP” Theme Song and cueing tears from all the on-lookers!
