So, ‘tis the season for fall engagement sessions and all things Halloween. And lucky for us, we all got a [trick or] treat when Buzzfeed staffer, TV writer and photographer, Jesse McClaren, was asked by his bride-to-be sister to help shoot her engagement photos. You see, he not only said YES, he turned out a killer session, which might just have every horror-obsessed couple haunting their own photographers for one of their own.
Jesse seized the opportunity to capture his sister and her fiancé’s special day, but like any brother, he thought it was only appropriate to oblige her request with some sass of his own. That meant Photoshopping Pennywise the Dancing Clown into each and every one of the outdoor e-sess snapshots. While the bride and groom were floating on cloud 9, someone else was floating in the background....
Some pics had him peeping behind the trees, others had him stalking from the sewers. Yah, creepy AF, but insanely entertaining and perfectly timely. Speaking of Halloween costumes, have you thought about showing up as Pennywise on your own this year?
This wasn’t McClaren’s first rodeo in the Photoshopping arena, either. He’s scored some maj credit for the recent President Donald Trump edits on his social channels, but this spoof and tweet challenging his sister to spot what ‘doesn’t belong’ in her photos, generated over 35K retweets and 120K likes. #Viral.
He actually just provided an update on his “countdown” to his Instagram feed, and seems like his sister finally got the memo and responded with the best reaction ever.

She wrote “On one hand, I really hope you get the help that you need. On the other… I totally want to use these” with a series of cry-laughing emojis.
Sense of humor must run deep in this family. It also bodes well for this bride to be able to handle unexpected things in the most relaxed and bride-chilla way possible. 🙌 🙌 🙌
What do you think, chicks, could you get down with an engagement photo shoot like this? Complete with a superhuman or non-human wedding crasher? Or are you more composed and classic with your couple close-ups, like Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner?
