Anthony and Britnee’s Engagement Story that Started in High School
I just want to start off with saying I knew since day one I wasn't going anywhere without this guy!
Anthony and I met my freshman year in high school. He was a lovable, poofy hair senior when we first met. He visited me at my locker before every single period. It was just what every first love dreams of - he was my first love and it felt great - those ones you're so nervous to kiss and act dorky too. After all the dorky lovey dovey things long story short we've been together ever since! Through thick and thin, high and low - I couldn't have ask for a better guy to be by my side through all the battleships and great times through the 9 years we've been together. After it all, this year Anthony received an AMAZING job opportunity out of state. Everything this kid has dreamed of and worked his butt off for paid off and came true, I couldn't be anymore proud of him. I stuck by his side long late nights on his computer, visited him at his shop dropping late night dinners, or just to keep him company. I always supported Anthony through the years as he always has supported me. He asked me to move with him out of state when he got offered the job opportunity, and I said yes. After all the stress, fighting, and tears 3 weeks later our house was packed up and we were moving 1,200 miles away from everyone. His parents threw us an amazing going away party that all my family, his family, and our friends came to. Read the proposal below.

So Anthony decided it was perfect timing and purposed to me in front of everyone at our party! It's just crazy how you've always dreamed of your big moment to be and it be totally different, but I literally wouldn't have wanted it any other way - it was perfect! A few days later we officially moved from CT to TX. I must say we were both scared and stressed - who wouldn't? Quite honestly this has been the best 2 months so far of my life - we've been relying on each other and living life to the fullest together. This adventure we are taking together has been one for the books, and I couldn't have asked for a better guy to go on this adventure with! He's my best friend, he makes me laugh, he lights up my day when it's not so sunny, he brings out the best in me, he lets me sing my heart out on car rides, he's always willing to lend a hand and help, and he always makes sure I'm happy when he's with me. He's the best guy in the world, and I love him so much! I can't wait to marry him and start even more adventures than we already have made!
