Proposing is a nerve-racking endeavor, to begin with, "Will they say yes?", "Will I be too nervous to pop the question?", the inner monologue goes on and on. Once you've finally come up with the right thing to say and picked out the ring, it's time to finalize the last details, the when and where. This bride decided to surprise her girlfriend with a trip to one of her favorite places from growing up, a place they had never been together. The idea of going to a place like that, a place that holds good memories from a time before your relationship, and making a new and incredible memory together is priceless!
Gen coordinated with Flora Gibson so they could arrive at the location and get everything set up for the big moment. While the proposal was a surprise, judging from the love in these breathtaking photos, it's no surprise that Amy said yes! Gen contacted me a few months ago with her plan to propose to her girlfriend in Big Sur California. Gen had never been to Big Sur but her girlfriend Amy loves it. Amy grew up in a town nearby but moved to LA during the last few years. Amy even has a Bixby tattoo as she has so many positive memories camping there growing up.
Gen and I worked together to make their day unforgettable. The love that radiates between Amy and Gen is felt just upon meeting them. The way they hold hands and touch each other stood out to me, it was so caring and gentle, full of love and unique to them. While we were definitely in a beautiful place, their connection stood out. I felt so lucky to be trusted with their love story.
