POV: Your engagement party is essentially everything great about a wedding with none of the stress. This adorable couple wanted a micro destination wedding for their official wedding day but wanted to make sure that they got to celebrate with ALL of the important people in their life too. So, that's when they decided to just go ahead and invite EVERYONE (all 200 of them) to their engagement party! And we're not talking a simple party at a cocktail bar. They went all out for this soiree. We're talking flower installations (plural), multiple food and drink stations leading to a big seafood dinner, music, dancing, and even a custom dress (for their dog!). Yeah...you're going to want to keep scrolling to hear all about it from the bride herself and to see more of these beautiful photos by Tpoz.

Elizabeth Stalfort and Karl Canby decided to have a 200-person engagement party on Labor Day weekend at the Sagamore Pendry in Baltimore. They wanted to have an occasion to celebrate with their friends and extended family since they planned to have a micro-wedding in Zion National Park. They chose to do the party in Baltimore because Elizabeth is from Baltimore (5th generation) and they will be moving there after they finish law school.

Victoria Clausen and her team took care of everything. They did the flowers, the planning, the coordination, signs, and found all the rentals. Elizabeth chose light pink, lavender, and white for their colors. She insisted on having flower clouds hanging from the ceiling and on decorating the giant metal horse, in the middle of the courtyard, with flowers. Their dog, Betty Ford, was a main feature. Betty was the muse for the signature drink, “The Betty”, and was on the cocktail napkins.

Catering was done by the chef at the Pendry, Madison Williams. The party started in the courtyard with appetizers - mini tacos, PB and J's, sushi, a charcuterie board, and mini fried chicken with hot honey. It then moved to the pool area for dinner and dancing–paella and grilled seafood. Dessert was cookies and ice cream sandwiches served from an adorable floral ice cream cart!
