We have super cute treat to share with you today from Gracie Blue Photography. Not only is it easy, but it's adorable. We know that we would be thrilled to receive this free Valentine's Card.
You only need a few things to get started: Unused No. 2 pencil, Craft knife or X-Acto knife, 8.5 x 11 Cardstock, Acrylic paint or ink pad (acrylic paint was used for this tutorial, but ink pads usually work better) Fine-Tip Pen, Spare paper for testing and cleaning off excess ink/paint, and of course a printer.
Step 1Download your card here and print your card on card stock. Feel free to make it your own by cutting it down to your desired size or carefully fold it in the middle.
Step 2
Draw a heart or your desired shape on the eraser. The allotted space is already pretty small, so try to use as much space as you can.
Step 3
Use your knife (carefully and slowly) to cut straight down and around your shape. Make sure the blade reaches the base of the eraser. Remove the the outer portions of the eraser until you are left with the desired shape.
Step 4
If you are using an ink pad, press firmly down on the pad until the shape is fully inked and begin to stamp your design around the card. If you're using acrylic paint, dab the eraser lightly on the paint and press the stamp on your spare paper to remove excess paint. Paint requires a bit more practice and can create a blob if you're not careful. However, it does create outlines of your stamp which can help add a different look.
