These delicately delicious cookies are pretty much the easiest cookies to bake in the world. And .... they are good. You only need a few ingredients that you already have in the fridge, they take about 15 minutes, including baking time. So about four minutes of prep and about ten minutes to bake. It was so easy and so quick that they could be considered dangerous.
Enough for 12 cookies Ingredients:
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 large egg
1 cup of Nutella
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Combine flour, egg, and Nutella (We ran out of Nutella and used Trader Joe's peanut butter chocolate. It was simply delicious.) in a large bowl and mix together until dough comes together and no flour lumps remain. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly mixed into the dough.
3. Place a piece of foil down and grease it up. Makes for easier clean up.
4. Make dough balls, about 1 1/2 inch in diameter. Place on cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Press down slightly with a fork criss cross on dough. Similar to when you bake peanut butter cookies. Your dough balls will look like round disks on your baking sheet.
5. Bake for about 10 minutes. Don't worry if they are still slightly soft in the middle. Let cookies cool on rack until they are set, about a half an hour. If you must, have one have a glass of milk handy and a napkin for they will crumble everywhere. Enjoy!
