Gin and tonic are one of our favorite cocktails. Simple and delicious! Since there are only two ingredients, we highly recommend purchasing an upscale gin like Cadée Gin.
Cadée Gin is handcrafted on the Isle of Whidbey, one of the largest islands in Washington. It also happens to be on the same latitude of Scotland. Like Scotland, Whidbey has miles coastline, salty breezes and gray days. Who knows? You may feel as if you are in Scotland while sipping your gin and tonic.
Did you know that a lot major tonic producers brands use HFCS (hight fructose corn syrup) in their tonics? HFCS is considerably cheaper than sugar, making it less expensive than a healthier tonic.
HFCS add a syrupy flavor to the tonic, therefore competing with the taste of your Gin. If you are taking the time to buy a high quality gin, than take the time to purchase a high quality tonic like Fever Tree .
We also found Q Tonic Water. Containing 85% lower glycemic rating, as well as 60% fewer calories than regular tonic water. Made with natural Peruvian quinine which is used by naturalists and herbalists to improve health, increase energy, and stimulate blood flow. WOW! I just sold myself on this tonic water.
