Museo Storico e il Parco del Castello di Miramare. Is this real life? The castle in Italy pretty much fulfills all of our castle fantasies. It sits majestically on a cliff high above the sea. Miramare Castle stands on the peak of the rocky promontory of Grignano in the Gulf of Trieste. Raise your hand if you want to go. Miramare Castle was commissioned in the second half of the 19th century by the Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Hapsburg as a residence for himself and his wife, Charlotte of Belgium. Too bad there wasn't Real Housewives of Trieste, that was some serious money.
