In reality, we don’t [yet] know why Gloria was rocking some aisle style, we can only assume that maybe there will be some #TBT moments this season, wherein the Pritchet crew reminisces over Gloria and Jay’s wedding - or maybe the two will be renewing vows? 🙋🏻 We’d like to see that! But, nevertheless, the Insta post that Sofia Vergara shared with her 13.2 mill fans definitely had us all smiling.
Smiling AND feeling satisfied. For so long before her wedding, a bride feels pressure to slim down for the occasion. #sheddingforthewedding and #bridediet, together, have generated over 100K hashtag entries of soon-to-be-Mrs. scaling back their calorie intake to ensure they are absolutely fit and flawless on the big day. And in our opinion, it needs to stop, or end as soon as the wedding day arrives - so that every newly minted bride can eat, drink and be merry after getting married.
Sofia, remember that time Amy met your hubby at a Lakers game? Yea, me too. She was DEF not holding on to him for dear life.
Sure, Sofia isn’t throwing back tacos or fried chicken in her on-set snapshot, but it still makes a statement that brides should feel empowered to ‘DO YOU’ on their wedding days. There’s enough stress through the planning stages to warrant some overly due #cheateats once the big day arrives. So, whether you need to munch on some Peanut M&M’s while you’re getting makeup done, pump yourself up for the processional by pounding some beer-battered pretzels, or get totally cheesy with some pizza with your crew, we say go for it!!
This is a non-judgement zone. If you want to chow down on churros, devour some doughnuts, or have your photographer capture sticky BBQ rib kisses with you and bae, then by all means, make it happen. You have our blessings (and no, you never needed them anyway) 😍.
Scroll on for some of our favorite shots of brides #snackingatthewedding. No, it’s not a hashtag franchise yet, but we have crossed fingers it will be soon!
OKAY, know this one doesn’t feature food… but it’s unadulterated #bridegoals right here! Stay tuned for our next post on times brides turned up for their ‘I Dos.’ YAAAS
