Let’s just be honest, J.Law is going to kill it if she ever decides to get married. And we know that, because she can dress the part like a total boss - case in point: the insanely beautiful ivory gown she wore when she accepted her 2013 Academy Award, the stunning white A-line look she rocked at her Passengers premiere last year, and just this week, the game-changing grey gown she donned at her Mother! premiere in NYC.
Seriously, the red carpet might as well have been a wedding aisle, because the Dior dress the actress wore was every bit a perfect bride vibe. From the precious princess silhouette, to the subtle shirred bodice and ethereal white and platinum tulle skirt, the ensemble not only earned the not-so-ingenue Lawrence accolades from fashion mavens, but major 👏👏👏 from soon-to-be brides.
From the front, the frock (and really, we can’t say that word without cringing, because it doesn’t give the gown justice WHATSOEVER) has a decidedly Grecian goddess feel --- always a bride favorite -- with its twisted straps and slightly plunging, V-neckline. And then the back… is just next-level lovely with a low, open back and sexy criss-crossing off the straps.
And the bride inspo didn’t stop there, either, because her hairdo was ready for ‘I Do’ too. Sporting a chignon chock full of gothic-style, red and white blooms, the coiffure was romantic AF and her soft-hanging tendrils and minimalist makeup complemented it superbly.
Our girl crush might be taking a timeout from acting for the next couple of years, according to a recent interview, but could it be to take on one of her biggest roles as a bride? Maybeeeeee. After all, this big screen premiere was a coming out party for she and her director bae, Darren Aronofsky, who already has a tight groom game going.
Telling People magazine that Jen was “a hurricane, a tornado” and gushing over her insane talent by saying she has “an earthquake of emotion and it just comes pouring out of her.”
We ship them hardcore, and think his tributes toward her sound an awful lot like the makings of wicked wedding vows…. Wedding Chicks, what do you think???
