The amount of high-profile royal and celebrity weddings that have happened in the last 6 months is actually out of control. Each one ever more amazing than the last. While we all have to wait at least a little while - post wedding - to get all the nitty-gritty nuptial news, we usually get lucky and don’t have to hold out on the dress details for too long. TG, too, because the second we have a new look to crush on, we need to know where we can get it (or something awfully damn close to it). And for the Resident star, Emily VanCamp, who you might know from a little show called Revenge, her designer dress came from NYC ready-to-wear designer, Lela Rose. It was stunning. In case you were wondering.
According to Us Weekly and a few other sources (and confirmed via the actress’s Insta posts), Emily and her former Revenge costar - and on-screen love interest - Josh Bowman got married this past Saturday, December 15th, on Harbour Island in the Bahamas. It’s been 6+ years since the pair went public with their puppy love, but by looking at Emily’s post(s) late last night, it’s obvious that these newlyweds are in it for good!

She shared a black and white snapshot of herself and her new hubby blissfully walking into that Mr. & Mrs. life, with a band in back of them. And in the photo, you see how tailor-made her Lela Rose dress was - carefully gliding over her curves as she walked, while her lace veil billowed behind+beside her. She couldn’t even caption beyond “12.15.18 ❤️,” but she didn’t need to, because #thatbridalglowsaysitall.
Seemingly minutes after she posted the first picture announcing her wifey status, Emily shared another shot, also black and white. (We’re not kidding when we say that black and white wedding photos are killer).

She credits photographer Charlie Dailey and thanks all of her guests, friends and family, for making their day so incredible - and Lela Rose and her team, for helping her dress the part. “Thank you to all of our friends and family who made their way to celebrate with us! We are eternally grateful. And to @lelarose and your incredible team for creating my dream dress... Thank you times a million 💕💕💕 📷 @charliedailey.”
The designer posted the same photo, expressing ALL the congratulations to the happy couple and acknowledging the complete rapture she felt to have had such a once-in-a-lifetime role in their special day.
Us Weekly revealed that the designer described Emily’s tulle gown as floor-length with a soft white design and scalloped boat neck in floral motif lace on top - complete with a perfect plunging back. The floral motifs were all “hand cut and appliquéd in a degrade pattern that matched the spectacular cathedral veil, which was made using the same technique.” Yes. Yes. Yaaaaaas.
