Chicks, who out there is as obsessed with The Bachelor as I am? Because we need to be friends. The whole ABC-made universe just blows my mind, and as much as we can laugh about influencer-ship and sudden social media stardom, at the end of the day, the show is doing something right after 17 years on the air. More than ever before, couples are ending their seasons having fallen in love and keeping the 🔥🔥🔥 flaming strong for years - eventually getting married like Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham, Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo (literally just got married this weekend)...
Even couples who’ve been together for years, dodging all the ‘soo, ummm, will there ever be a wedding?’ chatter are recommitting and getting closer to the altar and official ‘I Dos.’ Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher got engaged at the end of her season three years ago, and even though marriage has been a long time coming, the two aren’t any less into each other today than they were when that final rose was pinned. In fact, just this weekend, Jordan shocked his fiancée and Cash Pad co-star with a surprising second proposal that was apparently ALWAYS in the works.
“I always wanted to re-propose, with no cameras, no producers, no drama...just us. Our first engagement was so real, and meant so much to us both, but as we start to actually plan our wedding for next year I wanted to do it all over again, OUR WAY! So I bought a new ring, made a plan (that almost fell apart multiple times), and got down on one knee all over again. This time it was simple: Joelle is the love of my life, she is my rock, she is the funniest, strongest, and sweetest person I have ever known. The first time around I fell in love with a lot of what you all love about JoJo. But this time around I got on one knee and vowed to honor and protect her heart, which is the greatest part of her. She loves her family, her friends, me, and complete strangers with the most pure love a human can give. And THAT is what I love most about her most…..” ~ Jordan Rodgers

Reminds me of Wells Adams’s proposal and everything that lead up to it, including all the air-clearing he did prior to their beach engagement. He didn’t get a comped ring courtesy of Neil Lane or dip into any of Sarah’s hard-earned dough, he bought it himself, and couldn’t wait to ask her the most important question a man or woman could ever ask another.
This is real, people. These very attractive, youthful, fun, and famous people ARE just like us, they deserve all the love in the world, and they’re legit finding it on reality TV. GOOD. FOR. THEM.
E! News reported that at their wedding in Cancún this past weekend, Rachel Lindsay allegedly got up to make a toast, touting her truth about how falling in love on TV is actually possible.
"But if you didn't believe it there, you'll believe it today, watching us as we celebrate with you guys." ~ Rachel Lindsay
Yeah, Hannah Brown’s final rose was mostly thorns, but who knows what the future holds with DWTS?!?!! Maybe she’ll end up with a mirror ball trophy AND a relationship by the end of it…. 🤷
