OMG. Miley Cyrus and her man, Liam Hemsworth, got married a few days ago, and we’re soooo happy that 2018 is closing out with one of our ABSOLUTE favorite couples saying ‘I Do.’
If you haven’t been keeping up with the Miley-and-Liam-are married rumor mill (and that can’t possibly be the truth, everrrrrryone’s been talking about it), sigh we’ll forgive you, it’s finally been confirmed that vows were for sure exchanged this past Sunday, December 23rd.
It was a Party in Tennessee when the two tied the knot, and from the scant details we have, all from stalking the s*** out of both of them for days now, it was an adorable, lowkey affair, with ALL the love. Including our most loved part of it all, the pop star’s Vivienne Westwood wedding gown.

We don’t have a great still of the silhouette yet, just a few black and white captures that the couple shared on their feeds today - and they only really show segments of the dress (little bit of the top, all of the back). But from what we’ve gathered from a variety of sources, including People and E! News, the gown was absolutely gorgeous. Not something we’d immediately think of for Miley, since she can be a little unpredictable, but we’re soooo glad she went so timeless. With all the bespoke custom couture we’ve seen recently-wed celeb brides rocking these past few months, this gown truly stands out for its simplicity and understated glamour.
Not to mention, it’s honestly something any bride with a penchant for polished, vintage design can appreciate. No crazy embellishment or applique, just a streamlined silk satin silhouette with a cowl/off-the-shoulder neckline. According to several sites, the dress is predictably VW’s Long Cocotte Dress (priced at $8,620). It’s not available on Moda Operandi anymore, but allegedly interested brides can find it - made-to-order - at either of the designer’s London or NYC boutiques ((just keep that in mind!))
For anyone else, who won’t be visiting London or NYC anytime soon or isn't looking to spend that much on their dream gown - we have some looks for you to peruse. None are spot on, but they’re all very reminiscent of Miley’s getting-married ensem. P.S. Just a tip, we’ve been reading so many amazing things about Anomalie - affordable, custom-made wedding dresses online - and one of their Chief designers - Trish Lee - knows a TON about cowl neck designs… so if you’re on the hunt for something like Smiley Miley’s, you might have a lot of luck hitting them up.
Wear anyyyy of these on your wedding day, and you’ll be coming in like a wrecking ball, no questions asked ((and that’s a good thing)).
