5 Reasons We Can’t Wait for Hannah B.’s Bachelorette Season
Alright, guys, so we finally know how Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor ended…. And even as much of a Bachelor Nation diehard I am, I was kind of over it before it even really ended. Cassie was my favorite from JUMP (seriously, I predicted that s*** on January 8th - check it!), but as the weeks went on, I got really sad over how much Colton loved and cared about her - with very little reciprocation. In any case, I was rooting for Tayshia to get the final rose, but that didn’t happen. So, I guess we just move on. 😒
Thankfully, Chris Harrison gave us something to move onto REAL quick last night (and it wasn’t tonight’s new episode of Single Parents, yikes), when he announced Hannah B. as the next Bachelorette. I thought it would be Caelynn, like I was convinced, but I am SOOOOO happy that it’s Alabama Hannah after all. She is going to be awesome, and I already cannot wait until May 13th. Two months, peeps, two months.
Without further ado, here’s my reasoning on why Hannah B.’s Bach season might actually be the best (and no, not most dramatic, just best overall). Starting with the fact that she’s already given out a 🌹to an Austin-based rapper. She’s kicking things off on a high note straight out the gate. #hannahyoucompleteus.
She’s actually the cutest.
Did anyone else end up crying during After the Final Rose when Chris roll(ed) [tide] footage of Hannah accepting her Bachelorette bid? Because I did. She actually made me that emotional with her cuteness and genuinity. She couldn’t even articulate (something she has said she struggles with) to Chris how much she wanted the opportunity. She just kept saying “I just, yes, yes, I want it” with lots of head nods and tears welling up in her eyes. It was adorable. Not to mention, by the end of her Colton road, she was one of my all-time favorites. She said goodbye by taking the ultimate high road, acknowledging how much she has to offer a partner and telling Colton that she wouldn’t want him to meet her family if he had any doubts. She has a crazy amount of self-worth, enthusiasm, positivity, charisma, and charm. She is officially the cutest Bachelorette there’s been.
She’s a pageant girl, so she gets pressure.
She’s also well-versed in wardrobe changes… so she’s going to look good ALL SEASON LONG. No, but really, Hannah’s pageantry pedigree is going to be huge for helping her navigate all the pressures associated with finding love on TV. Every single lead on the Bachelor/Bachelorette - and contestants - has said in past interviews that the abbreviated TV timeline and crazy production schedule put stress on their journeys, and duh, we believe it. But since Hannah’s handled herself flawlessly in the tiara-questing world for so much of her life, she’s going to be just fine in The Bachelor universe. When she says “I’m ready for what comes next,” we believe her.
She knows how to activate [Hannah] beast mode.
This girl isn’t just a pretty face. HARDLY. She has a fierce and sassy alter ego, Hannah Beast, and that side of her is going to be SO GOOD for her show. Not only does it bode well for how she’ll handle any drama with her dudes during the season, something tells us she’s going to be a no-nonsense, don’t f*** with me kind of leading lady, it also gives us an idea of the types of adventures she’ll get after along the way. From eating bugs to tackling the Thailand jungle like a total boss, she’s proven to be up for anything. That makes us excited for where ABC will take us on the 15th installment. Her guys have nooo idea what they’re in for!
…. That said, can she and her squad pleaseeee go to Disneyworld/land/etc. on one of their trips away from the mansion?!?!! It’s an ABC franchise, isn’t it?! #brownforthecrown, Miss Alabama can probably act a perfect princess!
She’s got a cool AF family.
Hannah already told us last night that her fam bam was 100p supportive of her Bachelor journey and will be just as on-board with her Bachelorette gig - they’re all for their girl finding that one who gives her everything. But OMG, her family is beyond amazing. She shared a pic of her fearsome four on her feed a few weeks ago - right after Colton decided to say goodbye - and these people look so fun. We are so sad that we didn’t get to see more of them, but cannot waitttt to get a peek at these epic humans now that Hannah’s in the driver’s seat. The Brown crew rolls deeeeep, ya’ll.

She’s also got dogs…Not just dogs, but what looks like a golden and yellow lab 💕🐶 and obviously we’ll need to see more of them, too....
She’s already got the bride thing in the bag.
She says she’s ready for that ring and that proposal, and we’re here for it, absolutely!! Also doesn’t hurt that Hannah has been the [pretend] bride before and looked every bit the part. If she looks this good in a white gown, without a ring IRL, then she’s going to make the most radiant bride in the world when it really happens. Maybe she can talk to the same person who did Becca and Garrett’s styled shoot?!?!!
