Sooo I turned off the TV after the royal newlyweds finished their carriage ride through the streets of Windsor (I know, who am I??), but I couldn’t stop refreshing my Instagram feed. I knew there was a second dress coming, and how could I sit back and see all the chatter happening, without doing my part to help all the Meghan fans at home - dying over this positively stunning bespoke Stella McCartney moment?!? The answer is, I couldn’t. Obvi.
Her Royal Highness stepped out with her tuxedo-clad, cooly confident and chivalrous husband to make their way to Frogmore House for their evening reception (hosted by the bride’s father in law, Prince Charles) in a Stella McCartney design that was arguablyyyy even the slightest bit more amaze than her ceremony couture. And we were so excited to see the debut, since Stella had been such a suspected contender for the Duchess’s first look. Both of these showings were stellar, though, let’s not kid ourselves.

For the reception ensem, Meghan wore a similarly-striking lily white silk crepe gown, with a beautiful high neck halter neckline. It fit her flawlessly and showed off her sun-kissed shoulders. Not to mention, the gown set her head-to-toe look up seamlessly, her hair was on point, her drop earrings were too, it was just phenomenal. Add Harry and that silver blue Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero convertible to the picture, and you basically have all of our wedding dream goals realized in one reMARKLEABLE frame.
And we just love that Meghan and Stella worked so well together, given their like-minded appreciation for sustainable fashion sensibility and female empowerment, overall. This change-out dress will undoubtedly join the ranks of the most impressive, memorable, and coveted fashion looks of the year (you know, following
Meghan’s ceremony look and some of the
Met Gala gowns that killed us earlier this month).

We know you’re just as amped about this post-aisle style as we are, so we took some time to round up a whole new selection of dresses (13 to be exact) that definitely achieve Meghan’s modern, timeless look - on its second time around today. And you don’t have to worry if you don’t have royal reserves ($$$$) to justify a wholly new reception look. These gowns can go right from the ceremony to the reception, without losing ANY of their magic. Just scroll down, you’ll see what we mean 😍😍😍.
Now all we have to left to wonder is… what special things Prince Harry and his newly-minted wifey are doing for each other on their wedding night.
