As we have said before we are firm believers in accessorizing on your wedding day, at your boudoir shoot, pretty much anywhere. Simply by adding a hair accessory or a simple sash, is often the finishing piece to your already striking ensemble. If you are on the prowl for that perfect accessory to finish off your look, be sure to peruse one of our favorite accessory and now dress designers Tessa Kim. Her looks are refined, gorgeous and unique.
Jon Duenas Photography took a few pieces from her newest collection and photographed them in Olympia, WA. The ladies were styled to perfection by Petalos, and is the perfect inspiration for your up and coming boudoir session. See way more prettiness in the full gallery here.
From Tessa Kim:I created these accessories with the vintage inspired bride in mind. From the headpieces to the dress sashes, every accessory entails vintage millinery accents ranging from the 1920s-1960s. For this photo shoot I wanted create ornate accessories that would make a statement for any wedding day. I used very soft and romantic fabrics such as silk, satin, velvet and cotton to compliment the more ornate details such as the crystals, rhinestones, glass pearls and detailed vintage lace. From Stephanie of Petalos:I wanted to take an unconventional approach to styling this shoot. It was important to me to capture the architectural integrity of each individual piece and focus on the intricate details Tessa is phenomenal in creating. Rather than put the models in bridal attire, I envisioned the styling to encompass a bare and sensual aesthetic to compliment the beauty of each piece.
