You’re no doubt familiar with the bridal brand Milla Nova, known for their dazzling beaded and lace gowns. Their team, along with the rest of Ukraine, is caught in the middle of an unfathomable attack by Russian forces that continues to put not just their livelihood but their very lives at risk. While you would think that would have halted production, you would be wrong. Not only is the team at Milla Nova continuing to complete the production on gown orders, they have dedicated their time and resources to help dress Ukrainian military personnel and medical workers.

Some of their workforce, which consists mostly of young female mothers, has been evacuated to Poland and continue to work in a nearby factory. They are currently working on a collection of gowns inspired by their country, Ukraine, that the company plans to sell as NFTs to raise money to help when Ukraine is ready to rebuild. According to a recent article by CNN, 450 employees still remain in Lviv, Ukraine, and are working overtime to complete orders and dress their troops.
