Forget Borrowed or Blue We Want Glittery, Strappy, Sweet & Sassy!
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. .... uh not anymore! Myself and three of my Wedding Chick coworkers teamed up with Charlotte Mills to find four much more fun items to include on your big day; something glittery, something strappy, something sweet and something sassy! That's right, SHOES!!!
Our whole office has been drooling over the Charlotte Mills website for a while and when she agreed to ship us out four pairs we could hardly contain our glee. These beautiful shoes have a quirky and fun style that blend classic and retro looks into a modern shoe you are going to absolutely love... or so we have been told. Erica's sweet April Blue Shoes
My favorite shoes from Charlotte Mills are the April Blue. The detailing of the straps are so pretty and so unique and I love how Charlotte Mills always throws a heart in their designs. The peep toe is perfect for the upcoming warm months and is a great way to show off a pretty pedi. These shoes would be perfect for all the events surrounding your wedding. My first thought was how cute these would be for an afternoon bridal shower or even your 'something blue' on your wedding day. I would definitely recommend the April Blue for a bride who wants a little pop of color on her day!
Megan's Sassy Charlie shoes
My favorite shoes from Charlotte Mills are the Charlie. They are SO CUTE! I have been wanting a pair of strappy and sassy heels that tie up to the ankle for so long. To make it even better these shoes have an adorable rose gold heart at the end of each lace - perfectly matches the heart shape pattern of the shoe. Such a cute detail!
These shoes are a must for any event; a wedding (as a bridesmaid or a guest), date night, coffee - everything. They go with jeans, leggings, dresses, skirts, even shorts but that would take a lot of styling! I love them and they will be worn so much this summer. With the heart shaped detailing they would be a super cute addition to your bridal parties look, and they can be worn long after the big day so if your bridesmaids are purchasing them for the wedding you know they'll get plenty of use out of them!
Ashley's Strappy Delilah Shoes
Brides! You can't go wrong with a gorgeous pair of shoes from Charlotte Mills. My favorite pair, the Delilah are quite the statement piece all on their own. The metallic rose gold leather straps feature an art deco design inspired by Baby from Dirty Dancing with a modern metallic block heel. The first time I tried them on I was amazed by how soft and comfortable the leather straps felt, and was equally blown away by the quality + attention to detail. Each pair features Charlotte's signature silver sixpence in the left shoe to bring you luck on your big day which makes these the perfect shoes for your "I dos"! Overall, I'm obsessed with how comfortable and stable I feel in these beautiful heels and could easily dance all night in them.
Julie's glittery Becky Rose Bow Shoes
Last but certainly not least, the Becky Rose Bow heels from Charlotte Mills caught by eye because, lets face it, GLITTER! These ultra feminine white and rose gold glitter shoes are a stunning statement to any outfit including a glamorous high-low cut wedding dress! Just imagine walking down the aisle with with these super cute gold bows on your perfectly pedicured toes catching everyone's eye.
I also found out on the day we were shooting that these sexy little shoes also look great when paired with black skinny jeans! As someone that has a hard time buying shoes unless I know I'll get plenty of use out of them this was such a great discovery. Plus with the retro style block heels they are probably going to be the most comfortable pair of heels I will every own!
