We’d be a bunch of bad liars if we said we didn’t secretly want Selena and JBiebs to get married… Because, really, the second we heard she and the Weeknd called it quits, we were already trolling social media for evidence of a juicy Jelena hookup.
Thankfully, after peeping pics of the two kissing at J’s hockey game just last week, we could cool our stalking jets and just relax knowing that one of the single greatest celebrity love stories of all time was still being written. 😍😍😍
Who knows what the future holds for this pair of pretty people, but as we sit and wait for more smoochy sightings, we’ve been putting some thoughts together about what the Insta icon should wear as a wife-to-be. She’s been stepping up her signature style in the last year, and we are so excited to imagine her as a bride.
From structured wrap dresses to silky slips, plunging v necks and thigh-high, slitted silhouettes, Sel’s been turning up her couture choices. So, we’d love to see her in something that highlights all of her fashion points of interest. And that includes her stupid hot leather jacket staple.

Thanks to the celebrity gods of love, Selena and Justin have found their way back into each other’s arms. Yayyyy. She might not have a ring around her finger yet ((Biebs, that’s all you)), but while we wait, we’ve dreamed up some dresses that’d be perfect fits for her aesthetic. Absolutely love this wrap silhouette, with illusion fabric and a nice high slit. The look would be killer with her now-blonde hair (although who knows how long that’ll last), and the sleeves are something Sel just can’t get enough of. Though it’s nothing close to Little House on the Prairie, this dress does remind us of Selena’s post-AMA’s Vintage Dunne Sax design. Look it up, you’ll get what we’re saying.
Selena’s no stranger to a simple slip dress, and she outright owns it. ICYMI, she wore an ivory silk chemise slip dress for her AMA performance this past weekend, and though it was basically lingerie, she looked amazing in it. For her wedding day, she’d look beyond gorg in something like this simple Allison Webb design. Streamlined sex appeal. Love.
This might be a little much for Selena, but if she opted for a non-white palette, we could totally see her in a pale, blushy pink (remember her Met Gala look from Coach, that grown up pink gown and her matching millennial pink eyes - perfection). She’s also done floral prints fabulously, so this bridal iteration from @dearheartbride would be beautiful, especially with Selena’s pref for spaghetti straps.
Absolutely obsessed with this modern day disco ensem from CHOSEN by One Day. The long bell sleeves are so feminine and the embellishments are on point. It’s platinum palette is so good for Selena, and that plunging neck is just the right amount of sexy. It’s see through but still not too much. All she’d need to do is wear her hair in a low, loose chignon.
And if she decides to go short - this is IT. The Rime Arodaky short cut is so reminiscent of the edgy and super confident leather jacket look she rocked on the red carpet at the AMA’s, but obvi this is a softer, bridal take. It’s a wrap style, so of course Selena would be on board, and it has an almost suited silhouette too, which she’s been doing a lot of lately. Even if she went more traditional for her aisle vibe, this would be a fab second dress option - or even rehearsal dinner.
