Sun Soaked Micro Wedding at the Family Estate

Love conquers all, even COVID. Nothing could stop these lovebirds from tying the knot. In lieu of their big bash, they switched gears and celebrated with an intimate micro wedding at a family country estate.

Family Estate Micro Wedding

Kara and John were set to tie the knot on the rocky cliffs of Cabo San Lucas during the spring when the corona virus swept the nation. Sadly the pandemic washed away their dream of a guest-filled international bash. They weathered the pandemic and all the emotions it stirred. Kara and John decided if they couldn’t get married in front of all of their loved ones, they’d do it with the most important ones - their parents!

The Vows

Nestled on their family estate in Murrieta, California, Kara and John exchange vows on a sun-soaked ranch live with wild mustard and teaming with romance. The lush and romantic florals provided by New Creation Floral Design suited Kara’s traditional side. New + Nostalgic Vintage Rentals infused a tinge of modern flare with a striking flared legged dining table, tweed upholstered chairs and mixed metal accents.

The Cake

Guests were treated to a five course meal which culminated with a jaw dropping abstract floral cake design by LILA Cake Shop featuring layers of Bavarian cream and strawberries, reminiscent of the dessert Kara and John shared on their first date. Their wedding is proof that a micro wedding can be mega romantic!
