From Blue Skies Events NOLA: The inspiration behind this bridal shower is a play on the old proverb, "April Showers bring May flowers;" the twist would be "April 'Bridal' Showers bring May 'Weddings'!" The meaning behind this wise saying was everything happens for a reason, and that couldn't be more true when it comes to planning for any wedding.

With Spring just hitting the air, April is the perfect time to celebrate upcoming weddings in May. The look of the photo shoot was to take literal and figurative meanings. The mix of the photoshoot happening in April and the beautiful vintage umbrellas, from Bella Umbrella, hanging from the historic oak trees in New Orleans.

We also celebrated the abundance of Spring flowers in bloom with stunning florals on the table, bridal crown, not to mention the amazing head chair! Eric with Bee's Wedding and Event Design presented the flowers in a way that didn't compete with the hanging umbrellas, which really balanced the whole design.

Between the beautiful day, the photogenic bridal party, even the visit of a pair of swans at the park, this photoshoot could not have been more perfect.
