The beautiful venue we chose, Wotton House, has some gorgeous Italian gardens, adorned with Roman temples and original mosaics, that served as our canvas. Our amazing team of professionals came together to create the exact vibe that my heart felt when I first set foot in this place-mystic intrigue meets eternal beauty, like a deep dive into classic Italy.
Sensuality, passion, and love for tradition-these are the main values I looked to as inspiration for my Dolce and Gabbana-themed shoot. Being Italian myself, I wanted to recreate that vibe you get eating a pizza next to the Coliseum in Rome; where the smell of the fresh basil meets a typical gingham pattern over an enchanting historical backdrop that surrounds you from every corner.
A bold elegance dominates the scene while giving the couple an extreme confidence and charm. Red roses and cherry tomatoes helped us achieve that bold and vibrant look on an alternative tablescape.
We tried to create a bridge between fashion and the wedding environment-one enriched the other. Red roses, black lace, and sacred hearts were the focal point of our styling; these were the main inspiration details we took from Dolce and Gabbana. They are the signature of Italian strength, passion, and sexiness. The main colors were simply red and black with a hint of gold, the most powerful colors. A beautiful red vintage Fiat 500 added a pop of color and fun to this shoot-and of course, pizza made an appearance as well! We are talking about Italy after all! ;)
