Alright brides, this next wedding shoot is all about feeling inspired to try something new and we’re loving the old world, European vibe of this entire day! Events by Rebecca and a talented team of vendors pulled out all the stops to transform the The Yolanda Ranch into something completely unexpected and totally romantic!
There’s more to weddings than burlap, mason jars and chalk board signs (don’t get us wrong though, we love them all) However, we also love brides who think outside the box and try something new! So be daring, and imagine your day a little differently when you visit the full gallery for more amazing images from Sarah Schweyer Photography.
From Events By Rebecca: We started out the idea of having bold, deep colors and "old soul" at the center of it all during a trendy time filled with blushes, cupcakes, and mason jars. We wanted to get back to the romantic feeling of an old, European-styled painting that emulated nothing other than passion and love. That meant bringing in the wooden chairs that came with the ranch from day one during the Gold-Rush Era and fitting our bride with Love and Lemons great grandmother's ring.
Something else that we felt inspired by during the planning phase was to then take a very trendy element, like this ranch venue, and turn it away from the country chic elements, towards a new approach. The Yolanda Ranch is most frequently host to a bride who desires a barn wedding filled with wild flowers, hay bales for seats, chalk board signs, and burlap. So we wanted to give it a new look to inspire brides to take a ranch, for example, and give it a make-over! As designers it truly is our job to inspire and encourage couples to take that risk for a different look and watch them gush over the results!
We wanted to create a space within this shoot for those talented newbies to show off their stuff and get their foot settled into the wedding industry door. While also highlighting some "old"(er) vendors who know their way around the house already. And the result? Beyond anything we could ever have hoped for during the planning phase. The air, the vibes, the entire energy circulating the day of the shoot and the weeks leading up to it was nothing but supportive, positive, and up-lifting.
