Amandine and Guillaume knew that they wanted a small wedding, somewhere remote, where they could enjoy time together with their friends and exchange their vows free from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When they found the Island of Paros, they knew it would be the perfect place for their intimate bohemian wedding. Because their party was so small, they were able to rent a villa where everyone could stay. They spent the day of the wedding exploring the island, enjoying the local cuisine and the good company! 

Romantic Escape helped them plan this relaxing destination wedding from their home in France, which is no easy task. They coordinated with all of the vendors and transportation services to make sure everything went smoothly and that the couple and their guests could enjoy themselves to the fullest. Sun Rising Villas was the perfect venue for this wedding because it allowed the couple and their guests to stay on-site and it doesn't hurt that it happens to have amazing views of the island and the sea! Even though they opted for a small celebration, they still wanted that wedding feel, so they hired Moustakis Flower Company to create this gorgeous bouquet and beautiful floral arbor for the ceremony. Xrisovalantis spent the day with the couple and their guests and got great candids of them exploring the beach and the island which are some of our favorite photos! A VILLA BY THE SEA

This French couple, Amandine and Guillaume, decided to unite in a small ceremony on the Island of Paros after a vacation spent in Santorini. For this project, they were helped by Sonia Pin, a French wedding planner at Romantic Escape. She organized their civil and symbolic wedding in just two months! The couple opted for a simple and bohemian wedding with their closest friends. For this, they rented a beautiful villa on the island of Antiparos offering a breathtaking view of the sea. The villa corresponds perfectly to the bohemian spirit of the wedding. Moreover, the villa is not located next to a house, so you can party all night without disturbing the neighborhood.

A PEACEFUL DAY

The wedding day was serene. In the morning, the group of friends and the couple embarked on a journey to the island of Paros where the civil ceremony took place. After saying, "I do" at the town hall, they went to discover the island. They could admire the narrow streets with Greek charm. They had lunch in a restaurant with typical Greek cuisine before boarding again for the island of Antiparos. They spent the afternoon lounging around the pool of the villa. It was only at the end of the afternoon that the bride and groom took time out to write their vows. They then prepared themselves while the different service providers were setting up the symbolic ceremony and the reception table. Amandine changed her dress for a long and flowing silk dress. For a bohemian touch, she wore a golden crown reminiscent of the Greek goddesses of antiquity. For the beauty of the bride, she was helped by her bridesmaid with whom she had done trials in France. Amandine opted for a natural makeup look. Guillaume wore a flowing white shirt and a boutonniere in keeping with the bridal bouquet. 

AN INTIMATE CEREMONY

It was during the "golden hour" that the couple exchanged their wedding vows in a symbolic ceremony. After a toast, they walked on the beach for an intimate shoot. The beach was deserted and the sun was setting. They then joined their friends in the villa for a simple and relaxed reception. The dinner was excellent and hearty as Greek cuisine should be. They had enough food for the next few days!
