Set in the foothills of Carpinteria, California, the Ocean View Farm is a beautiful setting for a wedding even on an overcast afternoon. This venue is the home to 12 acres of secluded avocado, citrus and coffee farms with a charming barn and plenty of space for a celebration to remember. We were inspired by the changing of the seasons for this shoot, with a color palette that transitioned from spring to fall with ease. Our focus was on light and airy pinks, whites and greens of springtime paired with richer amber, maroons and blues of fall.

This picturesque day began in the bride and groom quarters based in the downstairs level of the main residence. Laughter filled the property as our sweet couple prepared for the day. Our bride slipped into her Anne Barge Sante gown from En Blanc while her soon-to-be-husband suited up in his Michael Kors tux from Friar Tux. Nickie DiPierri, the Lead Artist and Owner of Pretty Please Beauty worked her magic with the bride, creating the most natural beautiful look for this farm wedding. A sweet touch of floral in the bride’s hair brought the whole look together.

The day officially began as the bride descended the stunning stone stairway lined with lush plants and avocado trees, a true staple in California. The ceremony archway looked as if it was growing out of the abundant greenery that surrounded it and was beautifully lined with romantic springtime florals created by Glenna Joy Flowers and overlooked the 180-degree views of the ocean just miles away. Post ceremony, our couple celebrated with a walk around the property while Amber Lynn Photography snapped chic and tender photos that truly captured the charm and blissfulness of the day.

An intimate dinner reception with stunning views of the farm and ocean surrounding the guests was intentionally simple, polished and overflowing with florals. The clear galaxy ghost chairs from Bright Event Rentals allowed for all the focus to stay on the beautiful and welcoming table arrangement which included vintage white and gold china from Otis + Pearl Partywares. The light and airy florals were paired with warm amber and blue glass goblets to round out the color palette. Love filled the air as the groom served the elegant white cake from Autumn Cake Design.

Both bride and groom couldn’t take their eyes off each other as they celebrated the evening. They joyfully showed off their new jewelry with a fun photoshoot in the Malibooth photo bus and enjoyed each other’s company in the intimate lounge from My Lovely Events that perfectly complimented the vintage Volkswagen bus. The springtime florals paired with the warm hues of fall created a cozy reception set in the stunning ocean view farm backdrop. This dreamy evening brought together the love of two souls just like the pairing of the seasons that inspired it all.
