Outdoor Boho Romance Wedding with Handmade Dream Catchers

Bride and groom at boho dreamcatcher wedding arbor

When you find the right vendors that understand your vision, the rest comes together naturally, and that’s exactly how this boho romance wedding came around. The brides vision of a bohemian outdoor wedding featured a handmade dream catcher seating chart + backdrop and soft garden florals. She looked like a bohemian princess in her stunning Grace Loves Lace gown and silk flower crown; a keepsake she hopes to cherish forever.

Not every wedding turns out as picture perfect as this, which is why it’s so important to choose your vendors wisely. Read more about her inspiration and process below, plus find a full gallery of swoon-worthy images from the talented Rachel Solomon Photography.

like a true Bohemian princess

From the bride: For our bohemian look I wanted to incorporate these details into my dress and attire to feel like a true bohemian princess. I bought my dress from Grace Loves Lace online without even trying it on. I felt so confident with my gown that I knew trying it on would never change my mind. It was a risky choice but paid off indefinitely. My flower crown was also put together by my florist, Sarah Watts from Sarah’s Garden, and made out of silk flowers. I decided to go with silk flowers for my flower crown so I will be able to treasure the crown as a keepsake forever.

when everything falls into place perfectly

One of the first things I did as a planning bride was finding our photographer. I was incredibly lucky to find Rachel Solomon after just strolling through Instagram. From her light hearted and whimsical touch, I rapidly began to find my inspiration for our wedding day. After finding our photographer, everything seemed to come together naturally. I found our gorgeous wedding venue, The Farm at South Mountain in Phoenix, AZ, by looking at previous weddings that Rachel Solomon had captured. I spent time to research vendors that Rachel had recommended including our florist, Sarah’s Garden, and videographer, Jenna Lyter Cinema, who all shared the ability to encompass my inspirations perfectly.

"catch your dream" favors

In regards to our wedding decor/theme, as a bohemian and mountain climbing couple we wanted to bring bohemian touches into our wedding to give our wedding a unique style. I then learned how to hand make dream catchers and made one for each of our guests serving as favors and table assignments. I not only handmade small dream catchers for each of our guests but additionally made a backdrop wall for our reception site.
