Nature meets modernity in this fun lakeside inspiration shoot at a gorgeous Nashville estate. Contemporary furniture rentals like an all-black reception table and a sleek, minimalist lounge setup, set this shoot apart from the typical boho wedding. And while this shoot does lean towards the modern, it does have its earthy elements like the asymmetrical dried floral ceremony arch and the bride's embroidered terracotta gown. Touches of mustard yellow and deep teal add a colorful pop to the otherwise neutral palette.
Kelsey Rae Designs designed this stunning shoot that features some of the most exciting new trends in the industry. Echoes of Eden Florals created these stunning floral arrangements that incorporate dried and live flowers and a ton of vibrant greenery. These rich, colorful photos by Garrett Richardson perfectly capture the essence of this wedding design. Ever since we stepped foot on the property at Cherokee Dock, we knew it was something special! The expansive tree-lined driveway is what really drew us in! After touring the estate, we learned that Reba was the previous owner and that it was home to some of the most prestigious weddings in Tennessee! Right on the lake and yet, as private as can be, it’s truly one of a kind. The shoot was inspired by modern black and grey tones, while also adding some playful colorful moments. We like to do the unexpected, which we did with the hints of mustard and the subtle pops of color in the florals.
We loved the idea of creating a deconstructed arch, so that it was still a statement, while also not taking away from the beautiful view of the lake! Kelly of Echoes of Eden Florals really went above and beyond on the flowers and moved us with her flower choices! Mayker provided the most beautiful modern rentals–something you just don’t see that much of in Nashville. True trendsetters, that’s for sure! Their lounge was also the backdrop for the most beautiful cake by Ivey Cakes, which made a statement with its cool color tones and simple wispy florals! Heather of River & Bridge created the most beautiful invitation suite and stationery on the table. It’s crazy what paper will do to an overall look–completely elevating it and adding the charm the table craved! Kelsey Rae Designs hand-picked the tabletop rentals thoughtfully bringing in the modern, moody vibes! And Garrett Richardson so perfectly captured everything- the true essence of amazing teamwork!
Erica of 10.11 Hair and Makeup executed the most beautiful looks on our models. She’s truly a creative genius and her idea to sprinkle tiny dried flowers in our bride's hair will forever be a favorite. Our bride was dressed in gorgeous dresses from The Dress Theory! She wore a Rue De Seine dress that was TO DIE FOR...bringing all our colored wedding dress dreams to life! She also slipped into a timeless dress by Sarah Seven that balanced everything out perfectly.
