Ivy & Aster Fall 2018 Bridal Collection debuted in the heart of Chelsea during New York Bridal Fashion Week. This is what the brand had to say about the latest collection inspired by the love of ballet and beautifully photographed by Hellen Oliveira Photography. Ladies, Hellen is based in Georgia and is willing yo travel so you're going to want to take a look at her wedding work.
“While remaining true to our brand's aesthetic, we envisioned what many girls dream to be when they are young; a ballerina. I took ballet for many years and still to this day am awestruck by a ballerina's beauty and grace. We then incorporated that feeling and quality into our bridal dresses. Known for our light, airy fabrics and romantic quality, we wanted to expand on the ballet attire, costuming and dance and interpret them into wearable dresses for weddings. Every woman should be comfortable on her wedding day and enjoy dancing the night away so we felt it was a natural source of inspiration to draw from for this collection.”
These Ivy & Aster gowns retail from $1500-3500 making them attainable for brides with a reasonable budget. There is no shortage of delicate femininity in this collection. Complete with their signature light and airy fabrics, soft nets, lace, lots of ornate embroideries, and plenty of flowing silks. Since this collection has an emphasis on dance, the bodices of the gowns are structured to emulate traditional ballet costuming. One could safely assume that they gowns will also be easy in which to move, sit and of course dance the night away. Curious to see a real bride in Ivy & Aster?
