Star Wars may sound like a geeky theme for your wedding, but would that be so wrong? Geek Chic Your Wedding!
From Lasting Impressions By Design: Who doesn’t love Star Wars? It is such a wonderful story of good versus evil, that includes a love story, action, adventure, humor and all the exciting twists and turns. We are such huge fans of the movie franchise and never get tired of watching the movies. We wanted to design a wedding shoot that would show couples that they can incorporate details from certain things they love, like Star Wars, while still having the romantic and classic look of a wedding.
The main inspiration for the shoot was the beautiful color palette that runs throughout the movies. We selected gold and gray to be reflective of the many metallics, black and white to represent the fight between good and evil, and the beautiful red tones that appear in many of the movies as something negative, we also chose to represent the love story. From there, every detail of the shoot was selected to help bring our vision to life.
What Is Leia Without A Light Saber?
The bride’s beautiful gown and hairstyle were reminiscent of Princess Leia’s iconic look. The stationery and menus, along with the glass shard place cards, were all selected with the overall vision in mind. But what really brought the entire beautiful shoot together was the work of Erin from Eden’s Echo, who utilized unique floral selections to design the most stunning arrangements, boutonniere, and light saber bouquet.
Excited For The New Movie
With the newest episode releasing later this year, our mission was to include pieces of the movies, while still maintaining a soft and beautiful wedding atmosphere. We searched for fantastic vendors to collaborate with, who also have a love for the movies. Everyone was so excited to see all of the details come together. Every large and small detail was inspired by either the story, the colors, or the characters.
