We're total suckers for white florals and greenery, a chic lookin' bridal party, and of course a beautiful couple to match! This Tuscan-themed wedding day in Florida checks off all the boxes for glam and luxury without going too over the top, this feels just like how a wedding day should. Love that the bride and groom incorporated a little culture into their wedding day with an Irish ring ceremony + music to match.
Meche Ausina Photography was there to capture all the fun details, In Bloom Florist with the incredible florals, and Eventfully Yours planned every detail. You can see all the images in the full gallery.
Alayna and Matt were introduced in college by friends who thought they would be a good match… turns out they were right! After graduating from Stetson University, they moved in together and became a dog mom, and dad to two adorable puppies! Matt’s quiet, gentlemanly nature is balanced by Alayna’s energy, positivity, and silliness, making for a couple that is as romantic and loving as they are genuine and down to earth.
Alayna’s stunning Olvi's bridal gown from The Collection Bridal (scroll down to see where to buy this bride’s dress!) was a perfect match to her vibrant, whimsical personality, and together the couple radiated with joy, clearly a love that was meant to be. Fun fact: Alayna had such a wonderful time designing her special day at Bella Collina along with her wedding planner, Eventfully Yours, that she ended up opening up her own boutique wedding and event planning company - Roots to Stems!
This beautiful Tuscan-themed wedding was the picture of elegance and romance, from the beautiful peonies and garden roses in the bouquets, to the subtle, yet dramatic tablescapes. The Italian ruscus, classic white linens, and romantic candles came together for an elegant look that highlighted the natural beauty that makes Bella Collina so special.
The bride and groom added a unique bit of tradition and flair to the occasion, incorporating Irish traditions into the ceremony. A string quartet played Irish songs throughout the ceremony, and there was a "Warming of the Rings" Irish ritual. The Irish believe that precious metals hold energy. The more durable the object the more energy will be absorbed. The rings (made from gold) are perfect for capturing prayers, love and support for Matt and Alayna on their wedding day. The bride and groom's parents were invited to join the couple at the altar and pass the rings between one another to warm the precious metal with their wishes, prayers, and blessings. As they passed the rings, the guests also extended a silent wish or prayer for Matt and Alayna to support them in their joyous future together.
The bride loves champagne, so instead of a signature drink, the couple had a champagne Prosecco truck where guests could serve themselves from the keg throughout the night! They also used glasses of champagne for their toast as the escort card, with champagne scrolls to tie into the old Tuscan theme.
The cake was a classic white three-tiered cake with cream cheese strawberry filling (the brides favorite!). The couple also had a full candy bar with the couple's favorite chocolates from their local college town candy shop, Sweet Shop Deland, where they met! To add to the Tuscany theme, they also had a wine cork guest book where guests signed wine corks instead of a standard guest book!
