How To Give Your Rustic Ranch Wedding An Elegant Makeover

A longhorn cattle ranch (with some of the cutest looking cows we might have ever seen) is the backdrop to this magically glowing wedding event. The Location

When people hear the word ranch, I doubt this is what they picture. The Lone Oak Longhorns Ranch combines the country setting with elegance and class. Luxury meets modern farmhouse. Couples can take a stroll down the grassy knoll with champagne in hand and gaze at beautiful longhorns.
Ramona, of Simple Country Weddings, aimed to highlight this juxtaposition with earthy wooden farm tables adorned with delicate linens and pops of gold. Locally grown, organic tulips mimicked the soft lines of the loosely knit fabric runners. The perfect finishing touch to bare wood.

The Flowers

Erin, of Scarlett & Grace has dreamt of doing a hanging installation of tulips for a wedding ever since she visited Amsterdam. The rest of the floral design was centered around the most amazing spring blooms to show off the bounty of the season. "Interesting color combinations have always been my specialty and I wanted to play with the Dutch Masters style by using a bit of softness and ethereal qualities."

The photography

The ethereal quality is what Kelly, of Kelly Marie Photography, captured, playing with light to create a dreamy, romantic feel. "I love to emphasize color in my photography, and with this shoot, I was in heaven. A person can't help but be happy looking at these beautiful colors in the florals and settings."

The couple

Of course, CJ and Blanca certainly enhanced that romantic vibe with their obvious head-over-heels love for each other. When they look at each other, you can see it in their eyes that they would do anything for one another. For the grand finale, we took CJ and Blanca to the pasture area with sunset, longhorns, and mountains behind them. The organic feel of the setting contrasted with Blanca's beautiful gown. Even the cows couldn't help taking a closer look!
