From Shanell Photography: When Mitten Wedding and Events and I started to collaborate together, I knew we had the same vision. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is one of the oldest plants in Detroit. It was built in 1908 where the made the first Model T was built. The plant is rugged with exposed brick, weathered floors, old yet so refined and beautiful.
Every bit of detail in this wedding is glamorous, yet the industrial plant keeps the balance of vintage and glam that any bride would love. The flowers were rich in color and detail. The copper, raspberry and blush elements throughout add beauty, yet it is timeless. The cascading floral runner with natural greens and bay leaf sits on a farm table paired with rustic white chairs. Geometric Glass Terrarium’s were nestled along the table with copper mugs to tie in the colors.
A Moonlight Bridal gown unique to The Dress Shop, this ballgown is show stopping in ivory organza over light gold satin, with clustered beading and embroidery around the waist it creates the perfect definition for any figure. Beads elegantly scroll along the sheer back giving it the “wow factor” most brides are looking for.
